CBI head Tony Danker sacked after misconduct claims

The director-general of the CBI Tony Danker has been sacked with instant impact following an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment within the office.

He can be changed by Rain Newton-Smith, the organisation’s former chief economist, who will return because the director-general after a quick spell as a managing director for coverage at Barclays.

The dismissal of Danker on Tuesday adopted an investigation by regulation agency Fox Williams, which has rocked the enterprise organisation and spawned additional allegations that don’t relate to Danker.

Three different CBI workers have now been suspended pending additional investigation into plenty of ongoing allegations, the CBI confirmed.
